Warner Brothers Original U.S. Three Sheet Poster (41x81) Folded Very Good Condition
Warner Brothers Original U.S. Three-Sheet Poster (41x81) for the Vincent Sherman directed melodrama GOODBYE, MY FANCY (1951) starring Joan Crawford, Robert Young, James Griffith, John Qualen and Eve Arden. Joan Crawford is a member of the House of Representatives and she returns to her district to visit her alma mater. This is the setting for the romantic comedy that was the third film that Crawford made with director Sherman. Most of the film was shot at the University of the Redlands in Redlands, California. Crawford romantic interest is Robert Young, another veteran from MGM, making movies whereever there was a need. But Young would soon be featured on one of TV's classic family shows, FATHER KNOWS BEST. This three sheet was used in a theater and we have graded it in very good condition. It has a chip out of the top upper border that technically extends into the image, but does not obstruct any of the image. We also have another, different example of this poster that is in better condition. Ask us about this if you are curious. This poster would linen-back very successfully. MovieArt Austin guarantees that this poster is an authentic U.S. three-sheet poster for this movie. MovieArt Austin will sell no reproductions.
