Original United Artists Italian fotobusta (19x27), folded, for the Sergio Leone western masterpiece, THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY (1966) starring Eli Wallach, Clint Eastwood, and Lee Van Cleef. Easily one of the best Euro-westerns ever made, this sprawling widescreen epic traces the adventures of three gunfighters looking for stolen gold. With remarkable style and grace, this western morality play unfolds slowly to reveal more and more about each complex character. Here is one of the Italian fotobustas, showing men in a Confederate prison camp. This fotobusta is clearly from the first release in Italy and is, of course, one of several posters of this size that was made for the fotobusta set. Theater-used, it has some pinholes in the corners. It shows signs of general wear because it was used in a cinema in Italy. There is a small amount of writing on the reverse side which does not bleed through to the front. There are two small Italian censor stamps affixed to the front. We have graded this poster in very good to fine condition. This poster can be framed as is, but would look great linen-backed. Colors are vivid and do not appear to be faded.
