Original U.S. One-Sheet Poster for the film EN FREMMED BANKER PA (1959). This Danish film was released originally in 1959, but it was not distributed in the United States until 1965, when it was picked up by Trans Lux. The film is really more of an art film, but in the U.S. the distributor saw a skin-flick opportunity it seems. The film stars Birgitte Federspiel, Preben Lerfdorff Rye and Victor Monteil. A fugitive discovers a woman living alone in a house in a deserted area. Hence, the title. The movie netted three Bodil Awards, two acting awards for Federspiel and Rye, and a Best Film for 1959. This poster shows little sign of having been used; it is in very fine condition.
