Original Columbia Pictures 3-D Insert Poster (14x36) for the William Castle western, FORT TI (1953) starring George Montgomery, Joan Vohs, and Irving Bacon. Set in the period of the French and Indian War in Colonial America (1754-63), British soldiers attempt to route the French army from Fort Ticonderoga. This film has great cinematography, outstanding and believable sets and costumes, and great action sequences making excellent use of 3-D. This influential film led to a spate of other colonial films in the 1950s and the great TV series "Northwest Passage." This rare original 3-D insert poster is folded in very good condition. It does have some stains on the front from masking tape, but this could be easily cleaned.
