Original Columbia Pictures Italian Two-Foglio (39x55) for the British crime drama FOOTSTEPS IN THE FOG (1955). The film was directed by Arthur Lubin and stars Stewart Granger, Jean Simmons, Ronald Squire, Finlay Currie and Peter Bull. The story, about a man who murders his wife and then is blackmailed by a somewhat complicit maid, played by Jean Simmons. The art is by Alfredo Capitani and one gets a view of Big Ben in the foggy background. Simmons looks a little matronly, and this was only four years before her stellar performance in SPARTACUS. This poster has been linen backed and the overall condition of the poster is very good plus. Some restoration of a minor nature, and the poster presents quite nicely.
