Paramount Pictures Original Lobby Cards (3) 11x14 Very Fine Condition

Three original Paramount Pictures lobby cards for the Betty Hutton / Macdonald Carey film DREAM GIRL (1948). The movie was based on a clever stage play by Elmer Rice about a girl who escapes into her own dream world until she finally falls in love with a guy who keeps her feet firmly on the ground. (The plot is reminiscent of THE SECRET LIFE OF WALTER MITTY which had been made one year before.) The play was sophisticated but this film was dumbed down by the script and by the less than deft direction of Mitchell Leisen. Nevertheless, Hutton's career would continue unabated as she appeared in hit after hit. The cards are in very fine condition.
