Three different original MGM Roadshow Color Studio Still Lithographs (16x20) for the David Lean epic, DOCTOR ZHIVAGO (1965) starring Omar Sharif, Julie Christie, Rod Steiger, and Tim Courtenay. This film portrays seamlessly the combination of the personal and political lives of the main characters through the period of World War I and the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia. The film was nominated for ten Academy AwardsÑincluding Best Picture, Best Director for Lean, and Best Supporting Actor for Courtenay. The film won five OscarsÑincluding Best Color Cinematography to Freddie Young and Best Original Music to Maurice Jarre. Included is a shot of Julie Christie being forced to drink by Rod Steiger (very fine), a Moscow street parade, and shot of Omar Sharif, Julie Christie and Geraldine Chaplin.
