Original U.S. One-Sheet Poster for the Claude Autant-Lara film from 1947 LE DIABLEAU CORPS. The film starred Gerard Philipe, Micheline Presle, Palau and Henri Gaultier. The movie is love story involving three people which takes place during World War I. It was daring for a French film in 1949, and was marketed as an "adults only" movie in the United States. It's an interesting poster with art by Arthur "Hap" Hadley. Hadley was a famous American illustrator who had illustrated posters for film and other programs since the 1920s. He died in 1976.
