Paramount Pictures folded U.S. Insert poster for this U.S / Italian / Yugoslavian production starring Chuck Connors, Richard Crenna and John Huston. The film was directed by Burt Kennedy, on a template that was more or less developed for spaghetti westerns, and was intended to highlight the then popular Yugoslavian actor Bekim Fehmiu. The movie has a great cast, including Richard Crenna, Ricardo Montalban, Ian Bannen, Slim Pickens, Woody Strode, Patrick Wayne and John Huston. It's the cavalry against the Apaches, old arch-enemies, with a twist of anti-hero mixed in. The film is enjoyable and Kennedy, a veteran western director, is up to the task.
