Original MGM Three Sheet Poster (41x81) for the Robert Z. Leonard drama, CYNTHIA (1947) starring Elizabeth Taylor, George Murphy, S. Z. Sakall, and Mary Astor.This film marked Elizabeth Taylor's transition from child actress to adolescent actress. Dame Elizabeth plays Cynthia Bishop, a young girl on the verge, so to speak. She has musical talents and overprotective parents, Mary Astor and George Murphy. She's scheduled to get her first teen-age kiss from Jimmy Lydon. And her music teacher is S.J. "Cuddles" Sakall. It's not particularly well known among Taylor's films. But it's enjoyable. This three sheet, however, is one of the great Elizabeth Taylor posters. Our copy is in good condition and it a prime candidate for linen backing. Ask us about restoration services.
