Original Warner Brothers Six Sheet Poster (81x81) for the Otto Preminger war biography, THE COURT-MARTIAL OF BILLY MITCHELL (1956) starring Gary Cooper, Charles Bickford, and Ralph Bellamy. Based on true historical events, the film tells the story of General Billy Mitchell, a pioneering crusader of the Army's fledgling air corps. He is court-martialed after questioning the loyalty of his superiors for allowing the air corps to deteriorate. Cooper turns in a passionate and memorable performance, and the film also received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay. This original six sheet poster is already assembled and has been theater displayed. It is folded and in fine plus condition. The photograph was taken with the poster laid out on the floor.
