Original U.S. Half-Sheet Poster Linen-Backed Fine

Original Warner Brothers Half-Sheet Poster (22x28), linen-backed, for the Stanley Kubrick science fiction crime masterpiece, A CLOCKWORK ORANGE (1971) starring Malcolm McDowell, Patrick Magee, Michael Bates, and Warren Clarke. This amazing film chronicles protagonist Alex (McDowell), an "ultraviolent" youth in futuristic Britain. Sent to prison after being convicted of rape and murder, Alex participates in an experimental aversion therapy program for violence. While some have denounced the film for its brutal sensationalism, many are impressed by the questions it poses about the future of society. Please note that this is a half-sheet that was issued after the rating for the film was changed from X to R. Both of these editions of the poster are considered original. The MPAA changed the initial rating of X to R after some very small edits were made to the film. This poster was used in a theater, and was folded. We have had it linen-backed and it presents very nicely, with evidence of the folds minimized.
