Original 20th Century Fox Insert Poster (14x36) for the Walter Lang musical comedy, CAN-CAN (1960) starring Frank Sinatra, Shirley MacLaine, Maurice Chevalier, and Juliet Prowse. Set in the Montmartre district of Paris in 1896, the police don't bother to enforce a ban on the risque can-can dance in a popular club owned by cute and nutty Simone (MacLaine). Sinatra, who was at the top of his game at this time, gives some stunning performances of fabulous Cole Porter songs. And Juliet Prowse gives an exuberant performance as a can-can girl. This poster was used in a theater, and is folded. It has, however, weathered the years well, and is in fine plus condition. Colors are vivid.
