Warner Brothers Original Roadshow Engagement Six Sheet Poster 81x 81 Folded. Very Fine

Roadshow six sheet for the roadshow release CAMELOT, starring Vanessa Redgrave, Richard Harris, David Hemmings and Franco Nero. The film featured the incredible music and lyrics of Frederick Loewe and Alan J. Lerner. The film was directed by Joshua Logan. This six sheet offers the Bob Peak art that was used only for roadshow posters in the original campaign of 1967. This was a variant of the art that was also used for the soundtrack record cover. Original 70mm release posters for CAMELOT with this art are very scarce, and the six sheet especially so. The poster is folded, as was the case with most of these poster, but the condition is very fine. While the poster makes no mention of 70mm, most roadshow venues would have been 70mm venues. This style has been regarded as the roadshow poster. Art by Bob Peak. This is a large format poster, printed on four separate panels which are then joined to display as one large poster. What is clear is that this six sheet with the Peak art is scarce to be sure. Only a very few have appeared at auction.
