Description
United Artists Original Six Sheet Poster (81x81). Folded. Never Used. Fine Plus Condition.
This movie was a big-cast potboiler melodrama based on a popular novel by James Gould Cozzens. Lana Tuner plays a woman who has an affair with her husband's law partner - never a good idea. It's Jason Robards as the husband and Efrem Zimbalist Jr. as the boyfriend. The film was directed by no less than John Sturges, fresh from a smashing success directing the famous western THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN. No less than five screenwriters were employed to cobble this unwieldy story together, including the author of the book. A prestige mounting for a potboiler for sure, the film was photographed by Russell Metty with a score by Elmer Bernstein. This is a large poster printed on four separate sheets. Be sure you can handle this large format poster. Poster is in nice condition and was never used in a theater. Ask us about poster conservation and restoration. This is a stock image of the poster.
