This crazy movie stars Jonathan Pryce, Robert DeNiro, Katherine Helmond, Ian Holm, Bob Hosking, Michale Palin, Ian Holm, Ian Richardson, Peter Vaughan and Kim Greist. A young man lives in a small apartment grinding out a living is a stultifying job while the world around him is run by a bureaucratic hot mess of surveillance, technocracy and corporate dysfunction. The film was nominated for two Oscars, one for Best Original Screenplay and one for Best Art Direction. Indeed, the design and art direction of the film is memorable.
