Original Warner Brothers Italian Fotobusta SET (10 fotobustas plus the cover) for Arthur Penn biographical masterpiece, BONNIE AND CLYDE (1967) starring Warren Beatty, Faye Dunaway, Gene Hackman, and Estelle Parsons. A bored girl and a small-time bank robber team up and leave a string of violent robberies and newspaper headlines that catch the imagination of depression era America. Instead of just portraying the two as psychopathic thrill killers, we are presented a pair of archetypal lovers just bored with their lives and out for some fun and some cash. The famous violent ending hastened the end of the anachronistic Hayes code, and the film helped shape the 60's image of the anti-hero. Nominated for 10 Academy Awards including Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director, and Best Picture-- the film won the Oscar for Best Cinematography and Best Supporting Actress to Parsons.
