Original Color Photos 12 individual lithographs Very Fine Plus
Columbia Pictures Original Set of 12 color 8x10 lithographs (color stills) for the Otto Preminger directed film BONJOUR TRISTESSE (1958) starring Deborah Kerr, David Niven, Jean Seberg, Mylene Demongeot, Juliette Greco, Walter Chiari, Martita Hunt and Geoffrey Horne. The film was based on a very popular novel by Francoise Sagan. A proper French businesswoman (Kerr) is shocked when she encounters unfaithfulness in her lover (Niven). His daughter, played by Jean Seberg, is in a for a few shocks of her own. Seberg was "discovered" by Preminger when a nationwide search was conducted for an actress to play Joan of Arc in Preminger's film of SAINT JOAN. Seberg was a beautiful young blonde girl from mid-America. Her history is interesting and sad, as she was targeted by the FBI for supposed subversive activity in the 1960s. The set of photographs is rather rare. Condition is theater-used, very fine plus. MovieArt Austin guarantees that these color are stills are vintage, original, authentic. MovieArt does not sell reproductions.
