Original 1995 Re-Release One Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Luis Bunuel iconic drama, BELLE DE JOUR (1968) starring Catherine Deneuve, Jean Sorel, and Michael Piccoli. Deneuve gives a memorable performance as a beautiful young woman married to a doctor (Sorel). Even though she loves her husband dearly, she cannot bring herself to be physically intimate with him. She first indulges in kinky erotic fantasies, but eventually she becomes a prostitute, working in a brothel in the afternoons while her husband is at work. Martin Scorsese, a longtime fan of the film, spearheaded the effort to get a high profile re-release in 1995. This re-release one sheet poster is rolled and in very fine plus condition.
