Not a knock-off poster, this is an original point-of-promotion (record store) poster for the Columbia Records album MEMORIES, a compilation album released in November of 1981. There was a hugh push for this record and in 1982 the album became the best selling album of the year in the UK, the first time that a female performer had achieved it. Photography by Greg Gorman. This poster dates from 1981-82 and is not a reproduction. The poster measures 36x36. This is one of at least two designs that Columbia Records had printed for this release.
