Original Columbia Pictures U.S. One-Sheet Poster (27x41) folded and in very fine condition for the Richard Fleischer directed epic BARABBAS (1961). The film was adapted from a novel by the Nobel winning author Par Lagerkvist about the criminal who was released by Pontius Pilate in the trial of Jesus Christ. The film stars Anthony Quinn as Barabbas. A distinguished cast was meant to propel this film into the pantheon of religious epics, a status the film has never quite achieved. Also appearing in the film is Arthur Kennedy, Jack Palance, Silvana Mangano Katy Jurado, Salavatore Borghese and Douglas Fowley. This one sheet was used in a theater and is folded. We have graded it in very fine condition. Please note that there is some black marker scribbling on the reverse side of the poster, which is not visible from the front.
