Original Columbia Pictures Style C Six Sheet Poster (81x81) for the Otto Preminger political drama, ADVISE & CONSENT (1962) starring Henry Fonda, Charles Laughton, Don Murray, and Walter Pidgeon. The film is about a Senate investigation into a President's newly nominated Secretary of State. During the hearings, the nominee reveals a secret from the past, which may not only ruin the candidate but also bring into question the President's character. The characters are beautifully drawn, the performances are all equally brilliant, and Sam Leavitt's luminous black and white cinematography creates just the right mood.
