Columbia Pictures Original U.S. Three-Sheet Poster for the Jack Kinney directed animated feature film 1001 ARABIAN NIGHTS (1959). The actor Jim Backus voiced the nearsighted Mr. Magoo, an endearing older fellow who was constantly, obviouisly confused. Columbia, under the banner of UPA, released several animated shorts, but here was a film based on Arabian Nights tales with Magoo at the center of the action.
